*Hi! Please read the promo mechanics before answering this question by clicking here!
I remember what my Senior year was like: it was a lot of fun and bittersweet at the same time. In a way, I was sad to be leaving friends who were such a big part of my daily life--and for so many years. I was anxious about going to college (just the thought scared me truthfully). The great thing is I have a lot of good memories from that one year to last a lifetime.
Most of us are familiar with the phenomenal book-based TV series Sex and the City. The Carrie Diaries is a book that chronicles Carrie Bradshaw's Senior year in high school, therefore this book is appropriate for the Young Adult category or older. I would not recommend this for younger children, and just like any young adult novel, parental supervision is recommended.
This is something I would've given my seatmate in my Senior year. She was on the cheerleading squad and she was also on the honor roll. Everybody liked her, myself included. She was nice to everybody! When you answer this question (on the Facebook thread that this post appears in), think about a Senior schoolmate of yours that you really got along with, and that you'll never forget!
We'll be announcing the winner tomorrow (December 3, 2010). Good luck everybody and have fun!
The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell is published by Harper Collins. Special thanks to them for this treat!
